Elk is also known as wapiti. Meaning of Elk is a light-colored deer as per Native American. Their life span goes to 12 years. Their height goes up to 1.5m. Elks are mostly found in the continent of North America and eastern parts of Asia.
Their living habit differs as if it is summer they migrate to High Mountain while during winter they get in large herds and return to lower valley. Elks are herbivorous animal who likes grasses, plants, leaves and others.
